U: My Documents
Great place to store your ministry documents. Files are backed up nightly. Admin Support users are able to access.
S: Office Files
The general spot for church wide documents and publications. Files are backed up nightly. All staff users are able to access.
Desktop
These files are not backed up; and any files or folders on your desktop will slow down log-on and log-off time.
Online
Google Docs is an online place for word documents, spreadsheets, power point presentations, and form creation. Here you can create new documents, upload files, and download files.
Pictures

Scanning
Done on the large printer/copier in the workroom.
Color Scanning is done on the Volunteer Workstation.
File Types
- Not all people have the same software we have, so please send documents as a pdf. Here’s how:
File > Print > PDF Printer - If you want to send an editable file, either upload to Google Docs or save as a .rtf then send the file.

- Yes for 2 weeks if you:
- log off computer at the end of each work day
- shut-down computer for each weekend
How do I find a file?
- Use the search feature
How do I print?
- You should have several printers available. If they are unavailable contact the Technology Ministry
What’s wrong with my computer?
- First try logging off then back on again
- If that doesn’t work, restart your workstation.
- If all else fails, contact the Technology Ministry.
