Email Etiquette
- Do include an ending to your messages.
- Do answer each email within at least 24 hours. If out of office, even for the weekend, please active this:
- Do make a reasonable effort to only use email for church ministry purposes. Please avoid forwarding chain letters, funny emails, jokes, pictures, videos, etc. unless for ministry purposes.
- Do keep non-ministry related emails to a minimum, and only during non-business hours.
- Do respect email address privacy. Be sensitive when sending an email to multiple recipients. If sending a message to more than 5 people, consider using a group mailings through our family site.
- Do be sensitive to the content of your email. Re-read before sending. Remember that this could be forwarded on or posted publicly.
- Do check the email address you send to, even when hitting reply.
- Don’t subscribe to non-ministry related newsletters and news groups.
- Don’t reply to spam.
- Be aware that your email maybe monitored. You should have no expectation of privacy in anything you create, store, send or receive on the church’s computer system and that any of your messages may be viewed without prior notice.

How do I access my email?
- Open an internet browser. We recommend Mozilla Firefox.
- In the address bar type: start.cedarridgecc.com
- On the top right of your window, click on Sign In.
Do I have to be at the church to access my email?
- No, Your email is accessible from anywhere that has internet access.
Username & Password
- You will have one unique user name and password. This will give you access to files, computers, emails, and programs.
- Please don’t share this information, even with friends or family.

Groups
- When sending email to more than 5 people, to a group, set up the group at www.crccfamily.com
Staff & Elder Email
- staff@cedarridgecc.com will send your email to all current CRCC staff members.
- elders@crccfamily.com will send your email to all current CRCC elders.
Synchronizing
- Contact the Technology Ministry if interested in syncing a church device, such as a phone or pda.
Trash
- Email messages in your trash are automatically deleted after 30 days.
