Membership

A member of CRCC must be a disciple of Jesus Christ. A disciple is a learner, a follower. In other words, a person committed to learning all he or she can about Jesus and one who is ready and willing to obey him. That is how the Bible defines a Christian.

Jesus expects his followers to grow in knowledge, in obedience, and grow in service. We are all dependent on the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We are dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit. The church is Jesus' idea; he expects us to live out our discipleship connected to his church.

The Holy Spirit gives each Christian abilities for service to God. The Bible calls them gifts. Jesus has directed his people to perform services for other disciples and for those outside of Christ. As a member of CRCC, we ask you to strive to find your gifts and use them to serve. We want to work together to be Christ's body on earth.

Christ's church is a spiritual and emotional home for his people. CRCC wants to grow into such a home for you and all who would be a part of the church.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you; and surely I will be with you always to the very end of the age."
