  • Ladies Class: “Made to Crave” (a study by Lysa TerKeurst) is the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make it happen; led by Lois Breedlove.
  • Ladies Class: Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman (Beth Moore study). If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you; led by April Fillman.
  • Ladies Class: Jesus The One & Only (Beth Moore study); get to know Jesus intimately, as though you had walked with Him during His days of earthly ministry. This study will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and finally, on the road toward the cross with the Savior. This class, led by Stephanie Hipskind is a DVD/discussion class – no homework!
  • Men’s Class: Taught by Greg Pittman and based on the book, Habitudes by Dr. Tim Elmore; this class covers part one of a leadership journey that begins with self-leadership. We must lead ourselves before we lead anyone else. Learn leadership truths that will enable you to wisely influence others and make a difference in the world you live in. Two classes available:
    • Year 1 - The Art of Connecting with Others
    • Year 2 - The Art of Changing Culture

Birthday Blessings at the Sapulpa Campus

Throughout 2012, Cedar Ridge Sapulpa will be helping to provide birthday blessings to 27 students at Lone Star School. Our goal is to provide each of these children with a birthday cake, party supplies, and a birthday gift.

How can you participate in this special project?

  • Stop by the table in the Sapulpa Campus Lobby and choose a tag for a specific child based on gender, age, and birthday.
  • Choose any of the following items (or all 3!) to contribute:
    • A birthday gift
    • Birthday cake (including cake mix, can of frosting, disposable cake pan, candles). We do not actually make the cake; we are simply providing the ingredients.
    • Party supplies (plates, napkins, cups, forks, gift bag, tissue paper)

All items can be returned to the Birthday Blessings table in the lobby. One of our Sapulpa Campus journey groups will prepare and distribute the Birthday Blessings Kit to the school at the appropriate time.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Karen Martin.

New Beth Moore Study Begins February 5

The Somewhere In-Between Adult Bible Fellowship will begin a new study on February 5th. “James: Mercy Triumphs” is Beth Moore’s latest video-driven Bible study. In this study, we’re shown how James, Jesus’ own brother who started out as a skeptic, is turned from an unbeliever into a disciple. In the process, we learn how to put our own faith into action.

Our study will include a DVD lesson one week followed by a discussion out of the workbook the next week. The cost of the workbook is $15. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.

The Somewhere In-Between ABF is open to women of ALL ages. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in room 345 at the BA Campus. To help us know how many books to order, please let us know that you are interested in attending this new study by signing up on Sunday’s Bulletin Communication Card. Please sign up by January 21st. For more details, please contact Nancy Adams.
