Music Camp 2010

music-camp-color1Music Camp is a day camp for 3 year old through Fifth Grade children held at Cedar Ridge Christian Church Broken Arrow Campus. Cost is $30 per child which includes t-shirt and practice cd.

The last several years Music Camp had to turn away families because the camp filled up. So, in 2010 we will be offering 2 identical weeks of Music Camp. Help spread the word to everyone you know so they can enjoy a week filled with music, learning, fun, and Jesus.

Registration will run April 4, 2010 through April 30, 2010. Which week of camp will you be attending?

  • June 14 to 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • July 19 to 23 form 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with Music Camp, please fill out this form by April 3, 2010. All volunteers’ children/family will be sponsored (that means free) in 2010, but you have to sign up to volunteer by April 3. Childcare will be provided for volunteers that have children under the age of 3.

What’s New With Celebrate Recovery

celebrate-recoveryAlmost everyone knows the difference between right and wrong, but most people don’t like to make decisions. We just follow the crowd because it is easier than making the decision to do what we know is right. We procrastinate making commitments that will allow change to occur, even when those changes will relieve the pain of our hurts, hang-ups, and habits! Do you know that for some people, deciding whether or not to discard their old toothbrush is a major decision?

Others are so indecisive that their favorite color is plaid! In CR “We choose to commit…” That’s action. Making a choice requires action. Join us and see your life changed. Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Broken Arrow Campus (6:00 p.m. for dinner for those who have signed up). Also, join a 12-Step study:

  • Women’s 12-Step study: Every Monday from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Broken Arrow Campus
  • Men’s 12-Step study: Every Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.Broken Arrow Campus

SALT ABF Begins New Study

Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Join us on March 7 as we begin Focus on the Family’s “The Truth Project”,  providing in-depth insight on the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Led by Tim & Lois Breedlove at the BA Campus, this study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective.

Given the widespread lack of absolute moral standards in the culture today, it is more important than ever that Christians understand and are committed to absolute truth. This study is captivating, intellectually stimulating, and laced with scripture justification. You will be introduced to the truth claims of God in 12 one-hour DVD sessions that offer the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ.
