Music Camp 2011 Details
Due to high demand, this will be the second year Cedar Ridge Christian Church Broken Arrow Campus will hold two identical weeks of Music Camp. We have a computerized check-in system, so if you got a family card last year bring it back this year to expedite the check-in process as well as ensure the safety of our children. Which week of camp will you be attending?
- Week 1: June 20 to 24, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Week 2: July 18 to 22, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To conclude each music camp week, there will be a final performance Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the BA Campus Worship Center. Invite your family and friends to come see what your kids learned, and stay after the performance for a cookie at our reception.

Registration ran Sunday, April 3, 2011 through Mid-May 2011. Cost was $35 per child which included t-shirt and small daily snack. Register and pay online. Please fill out one form per household. Payment is due at time of registration. Alternate payment option, send a check to: Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 4010 W New Orleans, Broken Arrow, OK 74011, Attn: Music Camp (Please include registered child’s name). We invite you to visit the Broken Arrow Campus at one of our Sunday Worship Services at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. with dynamic programming available for children and students. Come see the computerized check-in system we will be using and get your children familiar with our campus.
Camp Details
During Music Camp, the children will be divided into 2 areas; Preschool and Elementary.
Preschool Information:
- 3 years – 5 years old
- Must be potty trained
- Ages based on current age as of August 1, 2011
- Limited to 90 children, per week of camp
- Waiting list (no charge) available once 90 child limit is reached
- New! MP3 files for at home practice provided
- Special parts: available upon request by May 4, 2011
Elementary Information:
- Kindergarten – Fifth Grade
- Grades based on the 2010-2011 school year
- Limited to 100 children, per week of camp
- Waiting list (no charge) available once 100 child limit is reached
- New! MP3 files for at home practice provided
- New! Groups divided by gender and emphasis
- All participants will select an emphasis <Choir, Drama, or Dance>
- Special parts: (speaking part, solo, or choreography) available upon request and auditions; please note interest on registration form; two audition dates available:
- Auditions: Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
- Auditions: Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
New Group Information:
- Sixth – Tenth Grade
- Grades based on the 2010-2011 school year
- Limited to 15 children, per week of camp
- Waiting list (no charge) available once 15 child limit is reached
- MP3 files for at home practice provided
- Groups divided by gender and emphasis
- All participants will select an emphasis <Choir, Drama, or Dance>

Volunteer Opportunities Available
Music Camp is completely staffed and directed by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering to help with Music Camp, pleasefill out this form by April 2, 2011. All volunteers’ children/family will receive a discount in 2011, but you have to sign up to volunteer by April 2. Here are the details:
- Free! Childcare will be provided for volunteers that have children under the age of 3.
- Free! Volunteer registration and t-shirt
- Discount! Children participants price is based on ‘family volunteering hours’
- 20 hours or more = $7/child
- less than 20 hours = $25/child
- New!All participants will select an emphasis (Choir, Drama, or Dance)
