Family Care BranchThe Family Care Branch involves ministries that assist families in time of need and supports the family structure with encouragement and assistance in various ways. Food for Families Family Care involves Food for Families, which involves many women in our congregation that cook and deliver meals to families in the case of illness, babies birth or during the lose of a loved one. We also have ladies that prepare and manage the funeral food preparation. We are blessed to have such giving women in our church family. Card Ministry Family Care also includes the Card Ministry, where we have women committed to sending out cards for birthdays to remind our fellow sister's in Christ that we love and appreciate them. Cards are also sent for sympathy or illness, as identified on the weekly Church prayer list. Newsletter and Bulletin Board The Women's Minis'tree Newsletter is sent out six times a year. It allows a focus on each of the six branches throughout the year. The newsletter keeps the women of the congreation informed of upcoming events and service areas. The Bulletin Board is located in the Church foyer. This is up-dated to show up-coming events or activities for the Women's Minis'tree. Crisis Care Crisis Care is also an important part of this branch. If a member of the congregation finds themselves in a situation where they need help or assistance, crisis care can contact people in the congregation that are willing to serve and are prepared to lend a hand. |
