Adult Bible FellowshipSunday morning Adult Bible Fellowships (Sunday School) are organized around ages, interests, gender and life stages. This class contains a mix of wonderfully dedicated and yet still growing people. You are certain to find a friend and will be made to feel welcome. They send out a newsletter via email each week and plan special events for personal pleasure and for community outreach. Currently studying Acts of the Apostles. This study presents a history of Christian origins: the founding of the church, spread of the gospel, and the beginning of congregations. It serves as a guide book of timeless principles for the church and depicts the triumph of Christianity in the face of persecution. Discussion will follow the video presentation of the lesson. Disciples - led by David Long and Mark Ester. Currently studying That the World May Know. This 8-week video-assisted study is presented by Dr. Ray Vander Laan. Leading his students through Palestine, the lessons of Scripture are taught in the very locations where they happened. You will see the New Testament come to life in the Negev, the Judean wilderness, Galilee, and Jerusalem. See the places and listen again to the words of Jesus as He led His disciples and taught God’s Grace. Adult Singles - led by Nick Wilburn. CRCC Adult Singles do activities at least once a month. This class has as a mission - welcoming and helping each other grow in Christ, encouraging one another, and serving God in the church and in the community. They are currently studying Moses-A Man of Selfless Dedication. This study will help you relate to a man who lived in your kind of world, faced your kind of struggles and didn’t always handle them correctly, but who, in spite of his sins and shortcomings, became useful in God’s hands for God’s sovereign purposes, in keeping with God’s perfect timing and plan. Life Application - led by Harry Coffin. Currently studying The Five Love Languages. How do you communicate commitment? Gifts, touch, acts of service, quality time, or words of affirmation? This Gary Chapman study will teach you how to express heart-felt commitment to your mate and discover how your mate perceives that they are deeply loved. Relevance: A Study in Contemporary Issues - led by Dr. Dale Doty. This class uses a short presentation and discussion format. We now live in what some have termed "post-Christian America." This class is designed to stimulate Christians to gain the knowledge and tools to deepen and articulately share and defend our faith in a culture that is often hostile to God. The great Reformation leader Martin Luther said, “Unless the gospel is preached with contemporary relevance it has not been preached.” Participants will also gather outside class for times of fellowship and fun. Currently studying What's the Old Testament Have to Do With Me. An overview of the chronology of the Old Testament, with an emphasis on the historical reliability of scripture, archeological proofs, and the prophecies and foretelling of Christ. The class will also look at the Biblical basis of our Judeo-Christian value system and will help lay the foundation for a better understanding of the New Testament.
