Music - Drama - Puppets

Music is a very important part of the Children's Ministry. We have several opportunities for two year olds through 5th grade to lift their voice in song.

Joyful Sounds

Does your child have a desire to serve, sing, play an instrument, read a Bible verse, or hum a tune? Then Joyful Sounds is for them!

All 1st - 8th Graders are invited to participate in a new and exciting service project. Our young people provide special music and read Bible verses for the worship service at the Woodland Terrace Assisted Living Complex.

Miss Singing Michelle will bring 1 to 4 children to the complex each Sunday at 9:20 a.m. and will return to Cedar Ridge by 10:15 a.m. Each child will serve once a quarter.

Contact Michelle Steward. Permission slips and medical release forms are located in the KIDS Zone.

Sunday Evening Music Mania

Beginning in the fall of 2008. Children kindergarten through fifth grade have the opportunity to be involved in singing, choreography, drama, handbells, choir chimes and rhythm band. They will also prepare solos and ensembles for children's worship special music. Piano students will be given opportunities to play duets with each other. Each child is asked to bring a sack supper and check in at the table in the foyer. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. and children are to be picked up by 8:00 p.m. For more details contact Vicky Cope.
