Plan on joining us after church on August 2 at the home of Kent & Donna Myers for a time to have fun and get to know people who are involved in our Sapulpa Journey Groups! Come jabber (talk), gobble (eat), and dip (swim). EVERYONE is invited. All you need to bring is your swim suit!

Music Camp Finale & Reception

A cookie reception in the BA Campus Fellowship Hall will follow the Friday evening Music Camp Finale. Volunteers are needed to provide cookies, to help serve cookies & punch, and to help with clean-up. If you are interested in helping in one of these areas, sign up on Sunday’s Bulletin Communication Card or contact the church office at 254-0621.

Blood Drive

An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at Cedar Ridge on August 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Isaiah Bible Study to Begin in the Fall

A Precept study on Isaiah: Part 2 will begin on September 9 and will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

In Isaiah 40-66, the Lord told Isaiah to comfort His people with His words. This study will give you a taste of the world’s future. (It is not necessary to have studied Part 1.) To order a book for this class, please contact Sharon Vinson. Come study with us and find Joy in the Scriptures.

Cedar Ridge 101 Class Offered This Summer

If you are considering placing membership or simply want more information about Cedar Ridge, plan to attend this Life Development Seminar. The class covers what we believe, what our purpose is, how our church is structured, and the benefits of membership.

Classes will be offered at the Broken Arrow Campus and the Sapulpa Campus. Lunch will be provided (reservations required) and childcare will be available upon request. Be sure to RSVP by completing the Sunday Bulletin Communication Card or calling the church office at 254-0621.

Women’s ABF Study

The “Somewhere In-Between” ladies Adult Bible Fellowship class will begin a new Beth Moore study titled The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Full of twists and turns, ruin and redemption, revelation and mystery, this 10-week video and discussion study keeps participants captivated by the God who stars in it! Taken from Genesis, chapters 12-50, the study explores important concepts such as blessing, covenant, and promise and how they forever shaped the lives of Abraham and his descendants.

Valarie Land facilitates this class on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in room 345.

Annual Christian Women’s Retreat

The 2009 Annual Christian Women’s Retreat, “Fresh Grounded Faith” will be held at Northside Christian Church on September 25 & 26, 2009. This year’s retreat features speaker Jennifer Rothschild. Jennifer, blind from the age of 15, is the best-selling author of Lessons I Learned in the Dark.

Cedar Ridge has reserved a block of tickets at a special discounted cost of $29 per ticket. Ladies interested in attending should be sure to register through Cedar Ridge. Registration begins in July. Sign up at the BA Campus Welcome Center or contact Lois Breedlove.
