Career Transition and Support

Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

An instruction and support group for people who are:

  • Unemployed
  • Unfulfilled
  • Burned Out
  • Changing Careers


This 6-week workshop is taught by Donnie Davis, a popular keynote speaker and personal career strategist, president of Coachwise Solutions, and author of Getting the Axe Without  Losing Your Head: 5 Stages to Surviving a Job Loss.

Session 4: Money & Careers

Session 5: Job Search Strategies

Session 6: Effective Presentation Materials

This class is a concentrated workshop covering servival basics necessary to accelerate a job search and navigate changing employment. Tools included in the 6 week workshop include:

  • 160 page career survival workbook on CD.
  • Assignments to make this time of transition more productive and less stressful.
  • A printed copy of "Getting the Axe Without Losing Your Head: 5 Stages to Surviving a Job Loss

You will receive encouragement from Scripture, and connect with people in similar situations. The cost for cd and materials of the course is $43 (made payable to CRCC). Scholarships are available. Contact the church office at 254-0621.
